POLYSTRENE INSULATED BLOCKS (LIGHT WEIGHT AGGREGATE)

Keeping in view the current recommendations of the Saudi Consolidated Electricity Company for insulating the walls of all buildings,
we have now manufactured Polystyrene Insulated CICO LITE Hollow Concrete Blocks. These blocks offer high resistance to thermal energy
flow A 45mm thick Polystyrene sheet is inserted in the core of the block, which insulated 85% face area of the block.
Thermal conductivity tests carried out by Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) indicate that the thermal conductivity of
CICO-LITE is 0.14 Watts/Meter/Kelvin, using the value of the thermal conductivity calculations were made to determine the “U” value of the
wall system using POLYSTYRENE INSULATED CICO-LITE BLOCKS WHICH IS 0.514 W/(SQ.M.K)
